10x Genomics Certified Service Provider for Xenium, Visium HD and Chromium X

Explicyte is a 10x Genomics Certified Service Provider for Xenium, Visium HD and Chromium X, supporting pharma, biotech and academic teams from study and sample strategy through platform execution, bioinformatics and biological interpretation.

Our 10x portfolio spans targeted and whole-transcriptome spatial biology as well as single-cell profiling, with Atera next in the roadmap. This breadth lets us select the platform around the biological question rather than force a project onto one technology.

Answers about 10x Genomics CSP services

Frequently asked questions

What does it mean to be a 10x Genomics Certified Service Provider?
10x Genomics Service Providers receive platform-specific training and qualification on 10x workflows and best practices. Explicyte is a Certified Service Provider for Xenium, Visium HD and Chromium X, giving sponsors access to qualified 10x workflows without building each platform internally.

Explicyte is a 10x Genomics Certified Service Provider for Xenium, Visium HD and Chromium X. The designation was announced in November 2025, when Explicyte became the first service provider in France certified by 10x Genomics for Xenium studies.

No. Explicyte’s current 10x Genomics Certified Service Provider designation covers Xenium, Visium HD and Chromium X. Atera is being added as a forthcoming service and is not currently part of the CSP designation. If you are planning an Atera study, contact us to discuss current availability and study design.

Use Chromium X for cell-state discovery and single-cell/single-nucleus profiling across fresh, frozen or fixed/FFPE samples. Use Visium HD for broad whole-transcriptome spatial discovery across tissue. Use Xenium when direct targeted cell-level and subcellular RNA localization is required. Atera is designed for large-scale whole-transcriptome in situ profiling with single-cell sensitivity.

Yes. A common study design uses Chromium X to define cell populations and transcriptional states, then Xenium or Visium HD to map those populations back into tissue context. Our in-house data science team can integrate the datasets across platforms and cohorts.

Explicyte runs its 10x workflows from Bordeaux, France. Platform-specific tissue or sample preparation, 10x wet-lab processing and data analysis are coordinated within the same team; NGS-based sequencing is managed as part of the study where required.

Yes. Our 10x dataset analysis service is available independently of the wet-lab work. We can analyze Xenium, Visium HD and Chromium datasets generated by your laboratory, another CRO or a core facility.

Sample compatibility depends on the platform and assay. Chromium X supports single-cell and single-nucleus workflows from fresh or frozen cellular material, as well as Flex workflows for formaldehyde-fixed and FFPE samples. Xenium and Visium HD support tissue workflows including FFPE and fresh-frozen material. Atera sample compatibility depends on the selected assay and current service availability. We review platform-specific requirements before study initiation.

Timelines depend on the platform, cohort size, sample readiness and analysis depth. Standalone 10x dataset analysis can typically be delivered within about four weeks, while end-to-end wet-lab studies are scoped project by project. The individual platform pages provide the most relevant turnaround guidance.
No. The 10x Genomics Certified Service Provider designation and Explicyte’s ISO certifications are separate quality frameworks with different scopes. The 10x CSP credential specifically applies to the qualified 10x platforms and workflows.
